Whether you’ve been a longtime fan of the comic book series or you’ve only seen the movie adaptation late night on cable once, it is hard to deny that <ahref="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocketeer" target="_blank">The Rocketeer is an incredibly memorable character. The Rocketeer is a jetpack wearing superhero whose adventures take place in the late 1930’s and the early 1940’s. He first appeared back in 1982 and was created by writer/illustrator <ahref="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Stevens" target="_blank">Dave Stevens.
*This retro-styled hero has seen his fair share of adventures, including the aforementioned feature film adaptation in the early 1990’s. What better way to keep The Rocketeer’s memory alive than by living out all new adventures with the classic hero? <ahref="http://idwpublishing.com/" target="_blank">IDW Publishing, who just last year collected the complete original Rocketeer series across several volumes for us, is releasing a brand new Rocketeer series entitled Rocketeer Adventures.
